BURNS RETURNS TO PORTSONACHAN VILLAGE HALL

Portsonachan Village Hall by the shores of Loch Awe used to host wonderful Burns Suppers.  After an absence of more than a decade, celebrating the bard and his legacy returned with a Burns Lunch on January 25th that was a sell out. The address to the haggis was given by Robert Wilson, a well kent member of the Lochside community. The Village Hall knew it was in for a treat when Robert agreed to give this year’s ceremonial tribute. The Village Hall Committee has been inundated with requests to organise a similar event for 2027 and we hope to be able to welcome neighbours around the Lochside and surrounding communities to the 2027 event.
