Yesterday’s get together was mainly influenced by Stewart Beck of the Scottish Men’s Shed Association.
He gave us insights about becoming a registered charity, benefits of becoming a member of the SMSA individually and as a group including interesting stories of other sheds.
Colin had the good news that our pre-application for building our shed was accepted by the council and this ball is rolling now.
Furthermore, he introduced the “Small table of big ideas” where newly built projects can be shown and assessed.
Our next meeting will be on WEDNESDAY 06/05 at 7pm at the Dalmally Community Centre.
