At tonight’s meeting we could welcome two new members: Richard and Will. 😃
Most importantly, we all wish fellow shedder Alan – who’s in Oban Hospital right now – a speedy and full recovery!❤️🩹
The next topic – of course – was the title story of today’s Oban Times!
A special thank you goes to Mark (AKA Mike) who’s done the lion’s share of the project.
Everyone shared what they did over the last fortnight.
Bob and Colin reported on the meeting with the Community Council and Neil explained the importance of installing a group structure including a members list and a constitution with all the legal bits and bobs.
Davie and Colin brought massive tool donations from Brian of Dalavich and Frank of Oban to Alan’s shed.
Davie, Will and Colin earned us money by cutting grass around the Community Centre. Sales also helped stocking up our funds.
Richard showed us beautiful samples of carvings he’s made.
Our next meeting will be in August.
