The first of two Red Squirrel Nestboxes has now been placed to give support in the forthcoming breeding season. It has already been inspected by the resident population, hopefully it will aid future youngsters to get a good start in a weatherproof and predator proof assembly.
The treated wood was donated by Ian McAdam of Loch Awe Hardwoods and Andrew Hill designed and built this addition for Portsonachan Squirrel Regeneration Project.
